33 Weeks......7 more to go!

LBR had a very exciting weekend.  He had his baby shower!!!!  It was beautiful and so much fun.  I would like to thank everyone who contributed, attended, brought gifts, ect.!  Thank you thank you.  I will post pictures once I steal them from various people.

This week we are back to fruit.  He is the "heft" of a pineapple.  He has now crossed over the 4 pound mark and is 18 inches long.  From now on he will most likely not grow tons longer but he will get a lot heavier.

Not much else going on that is interesting in my belly.  I think he will start slowing down a lot and getting more and more crowded.

Last week the Dr. said that everything looked great.  We are 100% on track.  She did mention we might end up moving up the due date.....we will see about that.  He needs to stay right on in there for a little longer!

32 Weeks

LBR weighs almost 4 pounds this week.  This is pretty much right around what the dr. told us he weighed on Friday.  He is a large jicama this week (not just a small one).

I am gaining a pound a week from here on out.  Roughly half of that pound is going straight to baby.......wonder what happens to the other half a pound :)

Not much new to report.  Going to the dr. tomorrow for just a check up.  Matt and I bought a video camera and signed up for birthing classes.  I think that means we are getting ready!

ALIEN BABY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt and I went to get a sonogram yesterday afternoon late.  Everything looked good the dr. said.  He said that LBR weighs 3lbs. 12oz.  Sounds kinda big to me but the dr. said he looked good.  Matt made sure that he was still a boy and the dr. confirmed that :)  They gave us three pictures of his alien face.  Matt and I think that other people are amazed with this 4d stuff.........we are not.  BUT we got to see his little face, even if it is a little alien-ish.

31 Weeks

I went to the dr. on Wednesday and all of my tests came back fine.  I was a little anemic, but they are not worried about that at all.
Matt and I have a sonogram planned for Friday afternoon.  We will get to see him one more time before he comes out.  They are going to check and make sure he is the right size and stuff like that.  So check back over the weekend for pictures!

LBR is the size of 4 navel oranges this week.  (I feel like they are finding it harder and harder to describe his size using fruit these days) Whatever!  He is 3 1/2 pounds-ish and he is headed for a growth spurt in the next few weeks.  The e-mail said that his kicks are getting stronger and he may start keeping you up......apparently he is a week ahead on this one.  He has been keeping me up a LOT lately!

30 Weeks

Only 10 more weeks to go.  VERY exciting and VERY scary!  LBR is the size of a cabbage this week.  Almost 17 inches long and 3 pounds.  The e-mail says to look for tiredness, mood swings, and clumsiness this week. Sounds like great fun :)

And here is a goofy picture of me with our NEW STOLLER and CAR SEAT combo!!!!!  We got a shower gift early.  Matt put it together and I pretended to stroll around the apartment.  Thanks Lily :)

Going to the Dr. tomorrow.  Maybe they will finally give me the results of my glucose screening.  I will update if anything exciting happens.

Week 29

LBR is a butternut squash this week.  He is over 2 1/2 pounds.  It says that his head is getting much bigger to accomodate his growing brain.  I mean I want him to be smart and all......but my dad and Matt have really big heads.  So I think I will encourage him to not grow his head TOOOOOO big (if only for my sake). 

I am feeling really big, but I think I am doing pretty good.  I still have good energy and only complain to Matt once or twice a day!  My feet and ankles have started swelling almost every night and my heartburn is out of control :)  Just sharing!  All is well here though, really.

Last week I went in for my glucose screening, a shot, and a thyroid test.  It was for sure my LEAST favorite doctors appointment to date.  I should be getting my results back soon and I will update with any news.

Week 28 and our Holiday Break!!!!

LBR is getting really big!!! He is 2 1/4 pounds.  He is the size of a Chinese cabbage (ok.....). He can blink his eyes and he has eye lashes.  He is also 15 inches long.  He is moving a lot and trying to bust out of my tummy every now and then.  I still feel ok, but I sure am getting big.  It gets harder and harder everyday to tie my own shoes.

Our break:

We went to Dallas first.  It is our family tradition to go to Santa's Village every year.  This year was super fun because we actually had a kid to take with us.  Zev!!!  And or course Amy and Ari came too.

We also got to see Gary and Alison's new house.  Don't know why we did not get any pictures of that.  We got a really cool gift on Christmas eve day.....SNOW!!!!

Christmas eve dinner

Megan and I went to the mall and spent the entire day in the snow together.  It was magical.....sadly no pictures though :(

Christmas Morning

We had Christmas morning with my parents, headed to Matt's mom's/grandmother's for Christmas lunch, and then we went back to my house for Christmas dinner.
