15 Months

Our little sweet potato is already 15 months old. He is so fun, and soooooo sassy. He wants what HE wants! He throws big huge baby fits. He is so smart and funny. He copies everything Grey does. He wants to play train table, drive cars, race, and wrestle. He does not want to play "baby" toys or even read age appropriate books.....not that he will sit still long enough for Grey's books either. He is talking up a storm. Here are some words that he can say: Mama (even though when I pick him up at the gym he runs to me hollering "dada" as loud as he can), Dada, cracker (which means any food that he demands at that moment), uhoh, bye bye, night night, up above, up, quack, car, airplane, vroom, meow, wow, chug, roar, elmo, woof, cat, dog, brother, thank you, Igotit/Ididit (all running together), and my personal favorite ummm. Not that "umm" is a hard word, but I love that he uses it appropriately. "Holdy what do you want for breakfast?" "Ummmm" "Holden, did you poo poo?" "Ummm".

His favorite things are his paci (we are trying to leave it in the bed), his wubie, his Elmo baby, anything that Grey is playing with, his toothbrush, and granola bars.

He went to the Dr. on Monday. Here are his stats: 22.8lbs, 30in.,46.5cm head circumference. So he is 23rd percentile for weight, 14th percentile for height, and 25th percentile for head circumference. So he is still a little guy!!!! I could have told you that. He is a shorty. :) I looked up Grey's stats at 15 months: 24lbs and 34in. So he was a bit bigger.

Anyway, this guy is super cute, sweet, sassy, funny, and really loving (he gives wonderful back patting hugs and super great open mouth kisses).

We got rid of the highchair because he thinks he is a big boy and would always try to get into Grey's seat.

Love these guys!

Vicksburg

We decided to take a little weekend adventure to Vicksburg. We went around the memorial park and did the driving tour. The kids did not love it, but they were good sports :)

We found a memorial to a Colonel Holden Putnam. I took his picture, but of course the name part is in a shadow. We googled him on the way home and learned all about him.

The boys decided to have another breakfast with Matt one morning.

Sweet friends!

Just hanging out.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!! The kids were so fun this year. It was really special. We also had fun because Rick, Lily, and Alex came to celebrate with us!

This was a few days before Christmas. We made some German cookies.

Christmas Eve dance party!!!

Playing on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas eve we went to drive around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights.

Alex and I made the pie on the cover of Southern Living. We were proud. We made our own caramel!

Matt read Grey "The Night Before Christmas" (Holdy couldn't make it that late).

Grey set out cookies and milk for Santa.

Christmas morning!

We all got ready for the day and took some graduation pictures. Poor Alex's graduation was cancelled due to the ice!

My personal favorite!
