Friends and Fun!!!

Grey has been having lots of fun with friends lately!!



Grey was having a strawberry snack. I told him to go sit down and when I came in the room he had brought all of his trucks to help him.





Grey and I met a friend for some frozen yogurt. They had their fountains on and we decided to have an impromptu splash party. The kiddos looked so cute with no bathing suits on!!













Grey got a little cold and it was time to head home.



Grey saw his bumbo in his closet and really wanted it. I got it down for him....apparently he needed a place to read.



We went to a BBQ over the weekend. The crazy boys were all being really funny. They thought looking at the moms through the window was a blast!







I LOVE LOVE LOVE finding him reading :)



Chick-fil-a fun (our new favorite hangout).



I thought maybe a year would make a difference....nope. He still soaks himself while playing at the water table. Maybe next year!

Grey got an early birthday present in the mail this weekend. He got a wagon from his Poppy, Mickey, and Grandma. We built it while he was napping. When he came out and saw it he knew exactly what to do!!!





We took him to see the ducks in it.







Grey ate the bread, but that's ok :)

Spring Has Sprung!!!!

The weather has been so warm and wonderful! We won't talk about the pollen that has also sprung up.

We have been having lots of fun over here.

The other day Grey and I took care of one of his best buddies. Grey LOVES her. He thinks it is his job to hug her and love on her. He followed her around and barely let her play.



This is Grey hug attacking her. She is underneath there somewhere.







Grey was trying really hard to get her to talk on the phone. When I asked him who was calling he said "Bobbo" (my parents cat). I then asked him what Bob said and he replied "meow". How very logical :)







We went to the zoo this week. Here the two boys are copying each other with fingers in their mouths. Who knows why!









We have been to the zoo a million times, but I have never taken Grey on the little train. We decided to take the boys on the train this time!!! Even though G has a very serious face in the pictures he loved it! He was saying "choo-choo" and "all aboard" the entire time!









Grey's second birthday is rapidly approaching. Well, we got him a bounce house! That is his big present/birthday entertainment (you will be seeing this bounce house making an appearance for the next few birthdays). Matt decided to try it out to make sure we had all the parts and that he knew how to blow it up before the party. Well......in TRUE Grey fashion he was terrified of it. Not the noise, just the entire contraption. Matt and I spent about fifteen minutes coaxing him into it.



We got him into it by holding him. He wouldn't let us put him down.





He finally started to have some fun.







The next day we went to play in the back yard and he kept asking for "bounce house." So I guess the dry run was a success in the end.

No pants dance in the front yard.







On a sad note. My sweetness has been sick again. He just can't shake this cough thing. He woke up last night in the middle of the night coughing and carrying on. All he wanted was me. I tried lots of things, but he ended up in the bed. Poor baby!





BUT, we went to the doctor again today and got some new medicine. I have high hopes that this will knock it out!
