Amy and Zev came to visit us this past week. They got to stay 6 whole days. It was really fun. The babies mostly ignored each other, but it was still fun. We went to the science museum, shopping, the duck pond, a little play ground, and the Jackson zoo.
Amy and I took pictures on two different cameras so we will be making two posts out of our visit. I will post the ones I have now and then more later!
Ms. Mickey sent Grey a package of those fun jeans diapers. He had already worn one and had some photos taken. But I thought it would be fun to have a little photo shoot of the boys in jeans diapers.
Jeans photo shoots are hard work!
Amy brought Grey a little present.....baby sun glasses!!! And I thought since he was already Mr. Cool in his jeans, he should also try out his shades.
The zoo was nicer than we thought it would be. Very nice to go and walk around.
Baby and I are in a little beaver look out.
We also went to toddler land at Chick-Fil-A and Zev loved it! Grey liked the colors but really could not do much :)
And last but not least, Zev loves to be outside. He got some pool time and some wonderful wet grass time.
There will be more pictures to come when I get them from Amy. I just knew that some people were on pins and needles to see some photos from our week :)
Grey really likes to be outside. Matt sometimes takes him outside when he is fussy and he almost instantly stops crying. We have been going for walks at the duck pond in our neighborhood lately. BUT we have only really been able to go because it has been cloudy and overcast everyday. This week it has been super sunny and really hot. I decided that Grey still would like to go outside. We have been taking little adventures for just short amounts of time.
1st backyard adventure: Just laying on the grass in the shade looking at trees.
2nd backyard adventure: Swinging
3rd backyard adventure: Pool
So Zev is coming to visit and I thought that a pool might be fun. So we decided to try it out before he comes.
We went to the store yesterday and found us a blow up pool. I opened it up and started going at it. 30 minutes later and one dizzy mom.....we have a pool!!!
So then I fished out one really big swimsuit and away we went!
(Please don't pay attention to the crazy haired mommy!!!!)
This is a video that I took of Grey splashing. The only problem is that I totally forgot that you cannot turn the camera while taking a video......so it is sideways. I am sure there will be more videos of splashing in our future!
This has to be quick because I can hear Grey waking up. Here is a little video of Grey in his jumper. He is not actually jumping....that will come I'm sure. :) He just looked cute.
And this is not a great photo. But I posted it because of what his outfit says. It says "I'm in charge". HOW TRUE!
This past week was a fun one! Grey officially turned 3 months old. So of course we HAD to have a photo shoot!
Lacy came to visit us last Sunday. She got to stay an entire week. Grey had some major meltdowns while she was here, but she said she STILL had a good time! Must be love.
We went to the science museum and saw lots of fun stuff.
We got to see a two headed rattlesnake. It is hard to tell that it has two heads in this picture, but it was pretty neat.
We went shopping, ran errands, celebrated my birthday, and went to the farmers market.
Lacy also brought her nice camera and took some really cute shots of the baby.
I will save some photos for next time!
In the past week Grey has also discovered his toes. They are really fun play things that are always around.
In other news Mickey and Poppy gave Grey (and me) a rocking chair/glider. It finally came in and we put it in the nursery. So I thought that we would show it off! THANKS GUYS!
