40 weeks.........and we wait

We are just waiting and waiting. I do not have another doctors appointment until Monday. So I am hoping that something will happen before then.

LBR is the size of a small pumpkin. I am guessing that means his weight. I bet he weighs more than that :) That is really all that my little e-mail said for this week. I think that the e-mail people think I should have already had him.....whatever!

My First Post

Emily told me that if I wanted to put a video on the blog, that I had to make my own post and I couldn't just add on to one of hers. So here it is: my first ever blog post!

And here is a video of the BIG baby trying to bust out of Emily's belly a few nights ago ... (I turned down the quality a bit to make upload and viewing faster - we'll see how it goes)

Mississippi that is!  Matt had his letter opening today and we found out where we are headed for the next 5 years.  CONGRATS MATT!!!!!

Waiting.....

38 Week and 14 days to go

Now is the waiting game.  LBR could be here any day now.  OR he could wait 14 more days.  Who knows!  He is almost 20 inches long (the length of a leek) and around 7 pounds.

Nothing else really exciting happening in there. I think he is just plumping up :)  I go to the dr. again tomorrow.

Matt officially matched somwhere!  YAY.  Not that I was actually worried, but it is still nice to hear.  Now we wait for Thursday to find out where he matched.  Exciting and nervous times ahead! 

37 Weeks-FULL TERM!!!!!!

LBR is officially full term.  He is ready to come out.......I mean I am not really ready but he could be :)  He is 6 1/4 pounds this week and a little over 19 inches long.  He is the length of a stalk of swiss chard.

The e-mail says that he could come out with a full head of hair.  Lacy and I were both bald for a very long time so I won't hold my breath for that one.

Since I was taking pictures yesterday I decided to take a picture of a super sweet gift that I got this weekend from my friend Erin.  She is actually the person that coined LBR (little baby Richardson).  We were trying to talk about him at school without people knowing that I was pregnant.  So I thought it was very fitting that she got me this blanket.  :)

36 Weeks......28 days to go

This week LBR is HUGE.  He weighs 6 pounds and is 18 1/2 inches long.  Roughly the size of a Crenshaw melon......you know a Crenshaw melon.  I personally have never heard of such a fruit.

He is gaining about an ounce a day! 

Matt set up the pack and play so now baby has a spot to sleep.  I think the biggest thing left is installing the car seat.  We will do that this weekend I am sure. 

I go to the dr. again tomorrow.  From here on out I have to go and see her every week, so I will keep people posted with any news from her as the appointments come and go.
