Going Through The Big D and I DO Mean Dallas!!!!

Baby and I went on a little vacation to Dallas this past week. We had so much fun. We saw a lot of people. We did not get to see everyone, but we tried! Grey was the best baby ever! On the way to Dallas he slept on and off and we stopped twice. He did not even really cry. On the way back to Mississippi we only had to stop ONCE and he never even fussed a little. What a perfect kiddo :)

I am horrible at remembering to take pictures. I seriously only took like 4 photos of him visiting with people. Other people took pictures so maybe I will get those and blog those later.

Here is what I have





While I was at home the animal whisperer (AKA my dad) and I found a baby bunny. We think we successfully reunited it with it's family.....at least that is what we are telling ourselves.




















In other news baby has started to scoot. I mean seriously scoot. He can now scoot to his toys all the way across the room. I would say he is crawling but he only uses one arm and does not coordinate his arms and legs. It is pretty fun!

Well, we are off to Port Aransas tomorrow. It will be Grey's first plane ride. We are crossing our fingers for a happy baby on the plane. Hopefully I will remember to take some pictures.

Megan visits!

We have had a great week. We played with friends, ran some errands, went to the zoo, went to story time at the library, and got to hang out with Megan. Megan lived in D.C. and this was the first time that she could get away to come and meet Mr. Grey! I think she was in love :)









We went shopping and decided that Grey was going to have a hat fashion show!

5 Months Old!

Grey is now 5 months old. He is such a big boy. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating his 5 month-iversary with Gran and Pop. They came in town to visit us.

Grey has actually started having some pretty bad stranger danger. We had to spend most of Friday reacquainting him with his grandparents. By Saturday though he was much better and happier around them!







Gran even got some special snuggles. Grey does not normally sleep very well on people. But she got to have him snuggle her and sleep for a good long time!


We took a field trip to feed the ducks at the duck pond in our neighborhood. Unfortunately the ducks were sleeping or something. We did not get to feed any!




The baby now fits into a special little outfit. Ever since my Poppy (Grey's grand-poppy) found out we were having a boy he decided that all little boys need overalls. He gave them to Grey when he got to meet him. Grey now fits into them so we had to have a little photo shoot in his big boy overalls!







Grey got to show off his rolling skills. He now likes to just roll all around the room. He rolled off of his mat and headed for the window sill.











And of course here we have our 5 month photo shoot!









It is getting harder and harder to get him to cooperate for photo shoot time. :)
