Holden John...Part Two

After we came home from the hospital Gran and Pop stayed for a week to help!! Gran and Grey decorated Halloween cookies.

Grey got a little more interested in Holden as the week went on.

We went to feed the ducks.

Grey shared some toys with Holden.

The big boys went to a fun pumpkin patch! They got to see fun animals and ride a hay ride.

Holden turned one week old!

My parents left and Matt's mom got to come to help us out. Holden got to meet his Grandmommie!

Grey was picking out his Christmas presents from the big Toys "R" Us catalog.

Grey likes it when Holden gives him "kisses".

We have had lots of sweet friends come over and bring us food and company!!

Holden got his first bottle!

Holden is now two weeks old. We went to the dr. today and found out that he now weighs 7 lbs and 8 oz. That is more than a pound he had gained since birth! He is also now 20 inches long (half an inch longer). He got a clear bill of health!

Holden John Richardson

Baby Holden John Richardson was born on October 17th at 12:44 Am. He weighed six pounds and 13 ounces. He was nineteen and a half inches long. Everyone is in love with this sweet guy!

Around 5:30 on Tuesday October 16th I had a contraction. They started coming at really irregular time intervals, but one right after another. At around 7 I called Megan and told her to come for sure and I called my friend Katie and told her that it was happening and could she watch Grey. My contractions were like every 3 minutes, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 4 minutes. But they were getting worse and worse. I called my dr. at about 8 and told him I was headed to the hospital. We dropped off Grey and headed in. We got to the hospital at about 9:15 or so. My contractions started getting really far apart, but they said they were strong enough to stay. I labored for a few hours and at 12:44 Holden was born. They cleaned him up and Matt took him to the nursery. It took about an hour and right after they brought him back to me my parents arrived!

Shout out to Megan who drove from Memphis to spend the night and take care of G!!

We only had to stay until Thursday morning and then we were allowed to go home!!

Oh Grey......

Grey got a brother and a train table! I think he was a little more excited about his trains :)

Fall Festivities

Fall is in the air!!! Grey and I went to a pumpkin patch on Friday. Grey mostly liked the tractors and animals. He was not that impressed with the pumpkins.

We went to the state fair this weekend. We had a lot of fun. Grey was not into feeding any of the animals this year. Matt was forced to feed all the animals by himself :)

In big kid news, We took Grey to the rides and kept asking him if he wanted to ride anything. He finally said he wanted to ride the race car "roller poster." This was actually one of the faster kid rides. Matt went with him and he actually had a GREAT time. He talked about it all day.

We are having a great weekend so far!!
