Howdy Folks

We went to the science museum and the park on Tuesday (the park is attached to the museum). The preschool room was open and we mostly played in there.















The museum was pretty much empty, so we were able to let the babies walk around a lot.













This kid is turning into a jokester!





On Wednesday afternoon we went for a little frozen yogurt date. He took approximately two bites and then wanted nothing more to do with my delicious concoction.



Thursday we had a fun time at the library. He loves story time!





Friday morning we went to the zoo!

















This morning we went to the Mississippi state fair. There were a lot of animals that Grey LOVED looking at.







First fried food of the day...fried pickles!



Grey had one and thought they were okay.



















Second fried food of the day....fried Oreos. These were a much bigger hit than the pickles.






We have had a fun and very busy week!!

Park

We had a good weekend. We went to the park.



















We ended the weekend with a trip to the ducks. I let Grey eat some peanut butter on the road. That may have been a mistake.









We started feeding the ducks. Grey was really excited and wanted to throw some bread. I was ripping him off pieces and he would throw them. Then I noticed that his pieces were no longer falling......because he was EATING the bread himself. "One for you duck, one for me."

Sweetness

Just a quick note to say that yesterday my sweetness turned 18 months old!!!!!! For some reason that makes me feel like he is a BIG BOY!

Cabin Fever

This baby and I have cabin fever!!!!! It all started on Monday when the baby got a fever. Well, he just felt crummy pretty much all week. We cancelled most of our plans. By Thursday I thought he might be feeling well enough to at least go to story time at the library. Then I got sick. So we did NOTHING all week. We watched a ton of Sesame Street and stared at each other. To make matters worse, Matt is on call this weekend. So we still are not getting any social interaction.
