Holden is FIVE!!!!!!!!

Holden is FIVE!!!!! This guy. He is such a special one. He is always memorizing things, memory like an elephant. He still loves books. He is really into his lego figures right now and Star Wars. He is so sweet to his baby brother. He is the first one to check on him or give him something that he wants. He is the most defiant of the three, and the most affectionate of the three. From day one he knew what he wanted and no one was going to stand in his way. He is so stubborn, and so smart, and very creative. We wouldn't change him :)

On his last sleep as a four year old he was sucking his thumb.....what? He didn't do that when he was a baby! Oh and Grey built them a tent to sleep in for the occasion.







Time to wake up the FIVE year old!















Dad came through again with birthday donuts! And a little Lego birthday present.

















Some Lego play before Grey had to go to school.



Then it was off the Dallas World Aquarium for the birthday boy!



















We had a great time! He picked out a crab figure as his souvenir. Then back home to read some new books and to eat lunch.





There was some playing and then picking up Grey.

Then a delicious meal of corn on the cob and pizza!







Then cookie cake and presents!!!

















Non-birthday blues and then playing and staying up late!









First sleep as a five year old.



This was Holden's birthday at school.



Holdy got another ant farm and was SUPER excited to get the ants in the mail.



I think he had a wonderful birthday extravaganza!

Holden's Spooktacular 5th Birthday!

Holden made a few requests for his big FIFTH birthday. And those requests made his party easy to plan, He requested a Halloween themed party, a spider cake, and a piñata. Done. I decided he would love a pumpkin patch party.

Spider cake! I thought it turned out cute and it wasn't that hard to make.







We had a lot of fun. It was crazzzzzy crowded so we were very thankful for the birthday area. But Holden loved the private hay ride and picking out a pumpkin.



















































































































The best part of the day was the piñata. Holdy loved it!
