Two

Our little baby is TWO. So I guess I should say our big boy is two. When did that happen? Surely it happened over night. I really can't believe it. And yes, I know I will say that for every birthday from now on.

Our sweet guy is a lot of fun. But he is the sassiest two year old you have ever met. He wants what he wants, when he wants it. ESPECIALLY when it comes to snacks. He thinks he is at least as old as Grey, maybe older. He hates to be confined in any way: being in the stroller, holding hands, getting/staying in the shopping cart, getting into a car seat. He believes he should be able to walk all by himself wherever we go (for example, the crazy crowded state fair). There is no reasoning with this kid, you just have to ride the wave of emotions.

That being said, he is so incredibly funny. He also finds himself hilarious. He loves to sing as loud as possible. During his teacher conference, the term "class clown" was thrown around. He is so active. He is incredibly loving. He says "snuggle" every single morning when I go and get him. He loves Grey more than anything in this world. He is so smart. He can already identify more than half of the letters in the alphabet. He remembers everything.

He has 16 teeth, he weighs 25lbs, He still has never had/needed a haircut, he says way more words than I can count, he pretty much speaks in simple sentences, I'm not sure how tall he is. We go to the dr. next week. He loves trains, cars, planes, Elmo, and he is really into animals.

As trying as he is sometimes, I wouldn't change one thing about him! No one can say he doesn't have a personality :)

Feeling Fall-ish

We have been having a lot of fun around here! Fall is in the air. Birthdays and pumpkins are in our future. BUT, first we had other fun things.

The Fair!

Grey wanted to ride lots of rides this year. Of course so did his shadow. Holden was terrible at waiting in line for the rides. And the lines were not long AT ALL. SOOO glad we went to Disneyworld when he was a tiny :)

Grey saw this huge slide and said he wanted to go on it. Matt had to ride with Holden because he was too small. Grey climbed up all by himself and just went down. Barely waiting for Dad and Holden. BIG KID!

Grey was big enough, Holden was not big enough for the bee ride. So Matt distracted Holden and Grey got to fly solo on a big kid ride.

The Mississippi State Fair goats......five years apart.

Someone got hot and tired and we knew it was time to head home.

Randoms

Grey fell asleep while playing the other day. Even though he assures me every day that he no longer needs naps!

Gary came to visit us last weekend. He went to the A&M vs MS State game with Matt and some of Matt's friends. The boys thought he was super fun!

Gary even supported Matt while Matt performed surgery on his iPad.

Alison sent the boys some Halloween goodies and they forced all of us to read a spooky book to them multiple times :)

When we went to Oktober fest the other weekend, all the males were doing this beer holding contest. The little guys wanted in on it. Grey held his mug a long time and was SUPER serious about winning!

These guys are the best!

We took the kids and Jessie to have a picnic at the rez today.
