Holden's Spooktacular 5th Birthday!

Holden made a few requests for his big FIFTH birthday. And those requests made his party easy to plan, He requested a Halloween themed party, a spider cake, and a piñata. Done. I decided he would love a pumpkin patch party.

Spider cake! I thought it turned out cute and it wasn't that hard to make.







We had a lot of fun. It was crazzzzzy crowded so we were very thankful for the birthday area. But Holden loved the private hay ride and picking out a pumpkin.



















































































































The best part of the day was the piñata. Holdy loved it!

September Shenanigans

Well we had a fun filled September. The big boys played sports again. Holden tried T-ball for the first time. He said he didn't like it, but he sure had fun once he was there!





Grey played soccer for the third season in a row as the Flames! With coach dad to lead the way.



We had a REALLY hard time last year with flu shots. This year we talked about it for a really long time. We prepared and we bribed. NO TEARS! They got suckers and a trip for ice cream!

Matt made Grey go sell popcorn to a few houses in our neighborhood. I was a wreck. That is something I would never do. But Matt is right, it's a great life skill to be able to talk to strangers and be brave. He sold to four or five people. Not bad!

We got to go to the State Fair again! The kids loved it. We first went to the pig races. We were reminded of Wilber and when they went to the fair.



The boys each got to ride two rides. The bigs picked a roller coaster that I rode with them and a fun house. The baby picked "bwoo mont tuck". He HAD to ride in the blue one.







We went to the Discovery Gardens when we were at the fair. We saw a lot of pretty flowers and some cool butterflies.





























Then it was ice cream time.





It was a successful day.
