Here are some pictures from his school party on Thursday.
Grey shares a birthday with one of his teachers, Ms. Shirley. He really likes her a lot!
Only big dirty three year olds act like that :)
Starting this year I am going to ask Grey the same 20 questions on his birthday. I think it will be so fun to see his answers as the years go by.
1. What is your favorite color? Blue
2. What is your favorite food? Cupcakes at school
3. Who is your best friend? Hugh Bailey (It is the boy sitting next to him in the photos above. We have never hung out with him outside of school. But his teacher did tell me that they are inseparable. If you ask me I would say Liza.)
4. What is your favorite toy? Holdy Bear (HA!)
5. What is your favorite fruit? "Dinosaurs like to eat fruit. Liza eats fruit." I would say strawberries.
6. What is your favorite animal? Elephant
7. What do you like for lunch? "Peanut butter sandwich and peanut butter on a spoon." I believe he asks for this every single day.....that same way.
8. What is your favorite song? Woody's song (????????)
9. What is your favorite book? The new lion king book
10.What is your favorite holiday? "I like presents."
11.What do you like to play outside? Cars and trucks
12.What is your favorite drink? Milk
13.What do you like to sleep with? Wubby
14.What do you like for breakfast? Chips (We have never given him chips for breakfast :) I would say butter waffle is his favorite.)
15.What do you like to watch? Sesame Street
16.What is your favorite outfit? "None." (I thought he didn't understand so I said clothes. He still said none.)
17. What is your favorite game? Thomas
18.What do you want for your birthday dinner? Cake
19.Where is your favorite place to go? The pumpkin patch
20.What do you want to be when you grow up? "A giant, giant, giant animal guy." "What does an animal guy do Grey?" "He puts the food next to the hippopotamus' feet and the hippo eats it." (Of course! Maybe a zoo keeper?)

Grey's first birthday

Grey's second birthday
And a very happy birthday to Gary. A wonderful birthday buddy and godfather. :)
The birthday paparazzi showed up at our house again for Grey!
Grey waking up to the Happy Birthday song!
Eating a birthday pop tart (I offered lots of things. Even things I would have to cook. Apparently an un-toasted pop tart beats out my cooking.)
After breakfast he played cars for a while.
We actually had another birthday party to go to in the morning. It was a dance party and it said to dress up. I could not think of how to dress a boy for a dance party. Megan came up with the idea to dress him like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. I taught him to slide across the floor and play air guitar. He was really excited. The minute we got to the door of the party he refused to wear the sunglasses any more and would not dance! But it was funny.
He had fun at the party. even though he wouldn't dance.
Holdy wore his leg warmers for the occasion :)
We left the dance party and headed straight to a baptism. Our good friends were having their baby baptized and invited some close friends to join. We went to the church for the ceremony. No pictures there. I should have brought in the camera. But I was a little stressed keeping two boys quiet in church. I did feel pretty good about myself when G pointed to a painting and told his little friend "that's Jesus." My work here is done :)
After the baptism we completely abandoned a nap and just played and played at their house. We then ate dinner and roasted marshmallows!!
We did not leave their house until late and both boys fell asleep on the ride home. What a birthday!
